Take a photo or video (max 60 seconds) of something small, weird or cool that most people walk right past. Explain why you find it interesting!

✅ Week 3 (June 23): Color Explosion
Take a photo or video (max 60 seconds) of something bursting with color. Snap a photo that pops with color!

✅ Week 4 (June 30): Tiny Worlds
Take a photo or video (max 60 seconds) of something small and make it look BIG! Zoom in on something tiny and tell us what you discover.

Shot on a Pinwheel Photo | Video Contest 2025 Official Rules

Eligibility: The Shot on a Pinwheel Photo | Video Contest ("Contest") is open to residents of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada (excluding Quebec), and Australia who own or have access to a Pinwheel phone. All photos and videos submitted must be taken using a Pinwheel phone to be eligible. Entrants must be the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence or have verifiable parental/legal guardian consent. Employees and contractors of FirePit Inc. (dba Pinwheel) ("Pinwheel" or "Sponsor") and their immediate family members are not eligible. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

How to Enter: During the Entry Period, complete and submit the Contest Submission Form linked on the contest page. Valid entries must include:

1. A photo or video in .jpg, .png, or .mp4 format taken on a Pinwheel phone,

2. An indication of the prompt or category being entered,

3. A brief description of how the entry responds to the selected prompt or category.

Each submission must be complete and submitted simultaneously via the Submission Form. Entrants may submit multiple entries in one or more categories and prompts. Entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe upon any third-party copyrights or trademarks. Use of automated systems or agencies for entry is prohibited and may result in disqualification. Pinwheel reserves the right to verify the authenticity of entries and disqualify fraudulent or non-compliant submissions.

Entry Period: Entries must be received between June 9, 2025 at 12:01 AM CDT and August 17, 2025 at 11:59 PM CDT. Entry time will be determined by Sponsor's computer system.

Agreement to Official Rules: By entering, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding. Entry constitutes consent to receive email and/or text communications from Pinwheel in accordance with its Privacy Policy (https://www.pinwheel.com/privacypolicy).

Judging: On or around August 20, 2025, Pinwheel employees will review and judge entries. Entries for prompts will be checked for validity. Entries for categories will be judged based on:

1. Creativity and Originality,

2. Composition,

3. Overall Appeal.

Each entry will be scored by multiple judges using the same criteria. The total score will determine the winners.

Notification and Requirements of Winners: Winners will be selected by August 25, 2025 and notified within five (5) business days by email. If a winner does not respond within seven (7) calendar days, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate entrant.

Prizes:

1. One (1) winner in each of the five (5) Contest categories will receive a $100 USD Amazon.com gift card:

   • Architecture

   • Pets

   • Old-timey or Vintage

   • Travel and Adventure

   • 3-minute documentary-style movie

2. Entrants who submit valid entries for all eight (8) Challenge Prompts will each receive a $10 USD gift card. Those entrants will also be entered into a random drawing for one (1) bonus prize of a $100 USD gift card.

Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions will be made except at Sponsor’s discretion. Gift cards are subject to the issuer's terms and conditions.

Grant of Rights: By entering, you grant Pinwheel a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute your entry (in whole or part) for promotional and commercial purposes in any media. You represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary permissions for any individuals or content appearing in the submission.

Ownership: Entrants retain ownership of their submissions but acknowledge that Pinwheel may use them as outlined above without further compensation beyond any prize.

Prohibited Content: Submissions may not contain:

• Inappropriate, offensive, or obscene content

• Violence or dangerous behavior

• Profanity, hate speech, or discrimination

• Copyrighted or branded third-party content

• Personal information of others

• Content violating applicable laws or regulations

Content Review: Pinwheel reserves the right to disqualify any entry at its sole discretion if it violates these guidelines.

Entrant Responsibility: Entrants are responsible for ensuring their submission complies with applicable laws and rules. By entering, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pinwheel from any claims related to your submission.

General Conditions: Sponsor may suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest if it is impaired by fraud, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify individuals who tamper with the process or act disruptively.

Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and affiliates from any claims related to participation or receipt of any prize. Sponsor’s liability is limited to the cost of entry.

Privacy and Publicity: Personal data will be used solely for the Contest and in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Pinwheel complies with applicable data protection laws, including the U.S. COPPA, UK GDPR, Canada’s PIPEDA, and the Australian Privacy Act. Except where prohibited, entrants consent to the use of their entry and state of residence for promotional purposes. Parental consent is required for any use of a minor’s name or likeness.

Disputes: Except where prohibited, disputes will be governed by Texas law and resolved in Austin, Texas. Residents of the UK, Canada, or Australia may retain additional statutory rights under local laws.

Parental Consent: For entrants under 13, verifiable parental/legal guardian consent is required before entering. Parents/guardians may:

• Review their child’s personal data

• Request deletion of their data

• Withdraw consent by contacting social@pinwheel.com

Data Retention: Children's personal data will be retained only as needed to administer the Contest and fulfill prizes, then securely deleted.
